Tattvas Essential Oils and Amulets

About the Oils: We have sourced our oils directly from the grower/distiller in Indonesia. All plants are either organically grown or sustainably wild harvested, and the oils are obtained through steam distillation. In order to provide maximal protection for the oils, they are bottled in violet glass (providing optimal energetic protection). During the capping process, each bottle is given a nitrogen blast in order to remove all oxygen, further protecting the oil. All of our labels are made from a tree-free paper (FiberStone®) and are printed with water-based inks. We also believe in giving back, so 5% of each sale goes to the Home of Mercy orphanage in Thali, Tamil Nadu, South India.

About the Amulets: Hand-forged Nepali Amulets
These amulets are specifically designed to coordinate with the Panchatattva Collection of essential oils, which are based on The Five Great Elements. Each amulet corresponds to an element, and comes in either gold or silver. They are hand-forged in Katmandu, Nepal using a technique called repoussage. The gold amulets have a copper core with a 24k. gold skin, and the silver amulets are solid silver. Gemstones may vary based upon local availability.

Each Amulet is offered in Gold, Silver or Copper:

Gold offers the energetic traits of Refinement, masculine, expression of understanding, hot and dry.  Effect on Doshas- Stabilizes vata (when used in small amounts), increases pitta, reduces kapha.

Silver- Energetic Traits- Introspection, feminine, exploration of the unknown, cold and moist.  Effect on Doshas- Balances vata (when used in small amounts), reduces pitta, increases kapha.

Copper Energetic Traits- Self awareness. Effect on Doshas- Reduces kapha.

The shapes of the amulets depict the tattvas yantras- Ether is an oval, Air is a circle, Fire is a triangle, Water is a recumbent crescent moon on a water drop and Earth is a square. In addition, the sanskrit character corresponding to each tattva’s mantra is formed on the front of each amulet. Each Amulet is adorned with a gemstone that corresponds to the specific tattva, both in color and properties.

Earth- Square with the symbol for Lam- Stone is Tigers Eye- Stimulates kundalini energy, encouraging it to rise in a healthful way, due to its grounding, protective and stabilizing properties. The key note for this stone is protection. It also collects and collates scattered energy, grounding one and providing sustainable energy to finish projects, ultimately allowing one to manifest one’s willon the physical plane. It also helps addictive personality make changes in their routine and life.

Water- Recumbent cresent moon on a water drop with the symbol for Vam- Stone is Pearl- Pearl is not for the faint of heart. It brings to the wearer what they need rather than what they want. This stone is the silent “true prayer” Pearl also helps one develope a profound emotional IQ, a relationship with the deep unconscious, and perhaps most importantly, a connection to the energy of the Divine Feminine. It delivers up profound teaching dreams, opens one to the flow of life and synchronistic events, and softens hard edges.

Fire- Triangle with the symbol for Ram- Stone is Red Carnelian- This stone ushers in the energy of vitality, strength and motivation. Red Carnelian is wonderful for increasing and stabilizing analytical abilities. It helps bring clarity to one’s thinking process and avoid or overcome fatigue. This stone also protects one from jealousy, anger, resentment and many other fire-based imbalances, whether they originate internally or externally, ultimately allowing one to trasmute this energy into empathy for the human condition. This stone thaws frozen states of being, supporting an expressive emotional and sensual nature.

Air- Circle with the symbol for Yam- Stone is Amazonite- This stone heals and opens the heart. It filters information being introduced into your system, allowing you to separate the wheat from the shaft and take into your subtle body only that which is wholesome. It allows one tohold two opposing points of view on the same topic simultaneously, without judgment, until one reaches a conclusion. In general, this stone is soothing and helps to clear past traumas that affect the heart.

Ether- Oval with the symbol for Ham- Stone is Lapis Lazuli- The energy of lapis lazuli stimulates the awakening of spiritual gifts and connection to the divine. It teaches one to use the spoken worde wisely and promotes the clearing of energetic-based disturbances that have manifested due to using words unwisely in the past or not speaking one’s truth. Ultimately this stone helps one contact and tune into one’s inner muse and express this infinitely creative aspect of Self. This stone is also constantly at work refining the grosser aspects and gently supporting one in moving towards and enlightened state.
